The one about the application of conservation of energy in the same way as electromagnetic braking, in which every answer could be right. Everyone in my school is arguing over whether its c or d. I got d cause they both have eddy currents. What did everyone else do?

I had the same debate in my mind, I initially thought D and wrote it down quickly, but then crossed it out because I considered the induction to be MORE alike the principles in the wheel. Virtually it is the same thing. Still it was a difficult question.

Faraday's Law is that a changing flux induces an emf... Which is true for d, but isn't it also true for eddy current breaking? The emf causes the eddy current doesn't it?

i dont care... special relativity dudes, we cant travel into the past. forget it
Well it's interesting to know the theory anyway.

PS. special relativity doesn't limit time travel, it aids the concept if anything :D

why cant it be A. DC motors dat produces back emf which slows the rotor just like the wheel being slowed down in diagram

i got D
cuz eddy currents are the cause of electromagnetic braking in trains, the diagram was a bit confusing but, it looked wierd. But hey...... who knows
