i wasted my money on the latest immortals issue of rs, even though the later half had better artists the reviews and stupid 2 month old news sections ruinied it. remember the top 50 guitarists fiasco? that list was ridiculous. rs smell

if i just had diahorrea, and the only thing available to wipe my ass with was a copy of rolling stone made out of tissue paper, i'd try and see how much mileage i could get out of my hands instead.

Lists are created so everyone can disagree with them

RS caters to the older people and the music snobs who are stuck in the 1970s, you can tell because every letter that gets published follows this template:

Dear Rolling Stone,
What has become of music today? I remember listening to bands like [70s bands everyone remembers, but never one of the many 70s bands that went kerplunk] and pissing my pants because music was so good back then. But now, bands like [general pop groups] and [bands of a new genre of music] are tarnishing the music scene so much that music will soon disintegrate into some form of horrible liquid which will flow into our oceans and destroy humanity. Bring back the old stuff so we can keep music in the stone age!

i agree however,
i mean, there are so many classics with awesome musicans
but these days i think the musicans are playing more radio freindly songs
if they are good musicans let there talents make them famous, not the radio friendly pop, because people will continue to admire those who play great music
