does tute reg still do this to you?
what i mean is when you sign in, after 20 mins or 15, they automatically sign you out, does this still happen now on pweb? i happened to me last year in 2nd sem but i dunno if its still applies.

I thought that only happened if you weren't active during that time? I'm not sure if it still happens but usually sessions will time out...but in my experience it won't do so if you're actively using the site, it generally happens if you just leave a page up and don't do anything with it for a certain length of time...so it shouldn't affect tutorial registration, the loading of pages etc...

the best way to get back to the tut reg page after registering tutes is to click back and click for another unit as oppose to clicking the tutorial selection link. since its already confirmed, its logged so its not gonna be deleted.

I have to register for my brother and it's so annoying! it takes like 5 mins just to load the page. Hehe sorry i know that's not that long but i find the whole process too much hard work!

you're welcome, sorry it's stuffing you around, it can get quite frustrating....all you can do is try and log on a bit early, but not early enough to have the session time out. I usually have the platform web sign in page up and sign in about 5 minutes early, so hopefully you'll get to the page you need before the school opens. That's really all you can do...though don't worry, I missed out on a tute I wanted because my selection took too long to register, I clicked on it when there were places left, but by the time the confirmation page came up it was apparently full, so I know how you feel!
