But Cold Chisel were formed in 1974, so I wouldn't be saying their a 80's band, its just bogans continued to listen to their music even until now. :D :p

But for 80's Australian music, you have to mention Midnight Oil, Ice House, The Stems, The Church, The Models and Mental As Anything.... although you can't go past the late 80's early 90's brilliance of Angie Hart and her band Frente. I had such a massive crush on her. :D

And Pookie, just so you don't feel like you're the only one who's heard of ugly kid joe, I admit to at one stage owning a Ugly Kid Joe cassette :D

I loved being a true child of the 80's.

i think i can make an acception for chisel
just because barnsey only played like 3 gig's not drunk or high on something
that was till he gave up?
but i went to his concert last year when he was suposdly gave up
halfway through the show he took a drink of his "magic water" to help his throat
he was drinking 2 bottles of vodka in his peak, thats a mean feat

They aren't aussie, mate, good try. Although, I do like it when you mention them. :)
