This kinda has to do with anime, but kinda not too...so read at ur own preference.

I think I've mentioned somewhere on here that I have a bad relationship with my sister. My parents have constantly been saying that I've gotta be a better sister otherwise i'm gonna have no one in the future, and i've started to realise lately that maybe i should change. My new years resolution is to be a better sister! (--I have realised that doesn't happen over night)

My dad always ridiculed me for watching anime (i started with haikyuu in yr 5 like most), making fun of the animation and stuff and that rubbed off on my sister too...so the other day I was so confused to find her wanting me to read her a manga!?? And i was like.. YEAH this is my chance, I can get closer to her!!!

So the past two nights I've read her spyxfamily, cuz it's cute and has a good story line, not much gore either (Idk why it's MA15+ on netflix). She's genuinely enjoying it, and i was really happy for that...so I showed her the first ep today! -not a great idea

My dad was in the room and he was like "Why are you showing her this?! she's gotta do naplan and study...she doesn't have time for this, she's supposed to be reading books," He started yelling at me. See my sister is a visual learner she doesn't like reading novels so I thought it was a good idea to start her off with the manga, I mean I started in yr 5...why can't she?

The main reason I'm pissed is because my parents want me to get closer too her, but then i'm yelled at for doing so? It's not like I'm making her addicted to corn or smth. what am I doing wrong?

I probably have to stop reading it to her now.

Can't give any advice on that. I haven't spoken to any Asian girls since HS.

But I can give advice on how to talk to white girls. Smile and wave. They talk bullshit 95% of the time, and as long as you pretend that it isn't crap, they will let u follow their socials. And for the love of god, don't admit ur a conservative.

Seriously girl asked me for astrology signs. Bruh took all of my mental strength not to reply with "Wtf kind of crap is that?". Seriously white women, wtf. Not relavant to anything but she's a UTS nurse and really hot.

White people are insane in general. Had this Russian friend, and somehow I never spoke politics with him in the 5 years we were in HS together, so I brought up LGBTQ, and how it is a virus, and he responded saying "Trans rights are human rights". Damn I always thought Russians were the good ones, I guess they're all insane lol.

Take an arts course or some kind of bs elective, find an Asian, talk with her 3 tuts about anything, and ask her to coffee.

If you want a westernized one, volunteer at a Chinese Christian church(Chatswood, Hurstville) events, and you'll find a single one your age eventually. Church bros were always really tight.

Don't ask out anyone at work, don't ruin your reference.
