they are called like the triangular kings or something i deno

3 + 4 + 5

fuck its hard to explain here on computer

just use pythag and u will find out its a right angle.

3^2 = 9
4^2 = 16

9 + 16 = 25

square root of 25

= 5

therefore right angle

This is hsc, but i could never do these further questions in mechanics.

A small ring C can move freely on a light inextensible string. The two ends of the string are attached to points A and B, where A is vertically above B and at a distance c from it. When the ring C is describing a horizontal circle with constant angular velocity w, the distance of C from A and B are b and a respectively.

show that
2gc(a+b)=w²(a-b)[c²-(a+b)²}

use the points which are dead on the line of best fit. if there are none on the line of best fit, use the points on the axis

how did you know it was 4unit? :)
4unit isn't too bad, we get basic questions like square root minus twenty five as well
ie. sq rt -25

Use y2-y1/x2-x1 and you should end up with either a fraction or a whole number.
I think by points on the axis Tommy meant that you pick a random point on the line and work out its co-ordinates based on where it is in relation to the axis. does that make sense? I think I just made that even more confusing....
