Why would you want to go on TV to find a possible "one" for yourself, your going against however many others for 1 guy who you don't know.

i was surprised they chose bob as the fourth bachelor.

when they chose trista for the bachelorette that was understandable cos she was pretty and obviously a lot of men in america who had watched the first series like her.

but when i heard that they were taking one of the guys from the bachelorette and making him the fourth bachelor, i thought it would be someone that had a bit more going for him. he isnt good looking, his personality isnt that great either! hes boring and thats why this is the first series of bachelor/bachelorette that i havent paid that much attention to.

on another note, my mum thinks its a sad show cos it demeans the women and all that stuff, but i disagree cos they WANT to be on the show.. what do you guys think??

and while i was satisfied with the result, i definatly ruined the ending for myself. and i cant believe how long 'they' lasted. i mean i find it hard to believe someone can find love on a tv show, but still, you'd think they'd develop a relationship that could last at least a month.

The whole concepts seems weird. Do people really enjoy seeing people bitch fighting over a have decent guy. I mean do all those bachlorettes actually like Bob. Doesn't anyone of them like don't like him? He's not perfect. What gives him so much authority?

And the concept of a bachlor having cuddled and kissed so much women (and vice versa), wouldn't normally be desired would it. I'll just go for the money and leave.

I've only seen this show twice before-last nights and the week before.
What I want to know is-at the end, is the Bachelor guy actually expected to propose, as part of the show? Is that like the prize for being the last girl standing? If so, that is incredibly sad and cheap. Especially if he has been fully tossing up between 2 or 3 people and unsure who he is gonna pick...how can the last one be "his soulmate"?
