UK/GB/Britain refers to a country, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland....alright....now, Ireland, whose capital is Dublin (where U2 formed) is not a part of Great Britain it is a separate country.
Great Britain itself, is England, Wales and Scotland. OKAY, GOT THAT EVERYONE???

So U2 are not from Britain/UK they are from Ireland, an entirely different country, an Irish person would've castrated some people in this thread by now.

You're right, but I think that believing U2 are a good band is far, far more shameful than believing that Ireland is part of the UK.

Yeah you're probably right about clapton though, don't know what i was on i would've put him in the 60's as well when he was with cream, the yardbirds and maybe the 70's with derek and the dominoes.

Queen should be 80's too, but i was thinking of a night at the opera ...but the darkness in 00's, i like them, there hasn't been a number 1 album by a new classic hard rock band in the mainstream for ages before them.
