what would a yr11 student gain from this?

Well, year 11 is essentially preparing you for Year 12, so the sooner you can gain more information about how to do the best you can in Year 12 the better prepared you will be for next year.

Also this workshop will greatly help you with your Year 11 Examinations and possibly deciding which subject to drop for year 12 if you are planning on that.
