What points do people have for this part of the syllabus?

I only have the UDHR (1948) and globalisation. What else is there?

Oh ok, thanks. You could probably also talk about the movements for slavery abolition, trade unionism and universal education and suffrage also.

You're missing alot between;

American Declaration of Independence AND United Nations Charter...
The ones I have include Magna Carta, English Bill of Rights, US Declaration of Independence, Constitution of USA, French Declaration on the Rights of Man and the Citizen and the US Bill of Rights.
Plus the contemporary treats and conventions such as UDHR, ICCPR, CROC etc.
Anything else which is important?

Sorry, don't quite understand your question..

If you mean how much should you know for a Q relating to the changing understanding HRs, barely anything. I was just pointing out that you coupld possibly mention them to illustrate specific changes do society's understanding of HRs.

If however, you are asking about how much we should know for a question specifically on one of them, I would say enough to write a 6 mark answer. Technically, they could give you a 10 mark question, but this would mean it'd be the only short answer question we get and this would be highly unlikley.

Basically this is putting the stuff u know together...
how human rights have changed over time and how ppl understand it...
ok this is from the top of my head:
European colinization-terra nullius
Doctrine of reception-allowed nations to claim land by conquest or agreement
that Australia Acts removing appeals to teh privy council
Magna Carta-powers of the king
Declaration on the Rights of a Man 1789
United Nations Charter
UNDHR
UNCROC
Bill of rights
Federation? thats another one.
human rights issues could go here
etc... stuff lyk that
C I made all that up-its easy to BS ;)
