Most of the time you should get 1-2 marks even if you write down the question wrong, markers are looking for the process more so than the answer.

in a really hard, frustrating and horrible exam that i thought i was failing I did about 3/4 of a page of working out to get:
t=ln(1/199)/-200
then i punched it into my caclculator, got a negative number and wrote (in a state of frustration because i was running out of time) "therefore i am wrong because t>0"

the teacher very kindly pointed out that t=ln(1/199)/-200 was in fact positive.

Division of a polynomial question. Let's just say the quotient I got as my answer was x2 + 6x + 8 and the remainder was 2. I added the remainder to the constant term :hammer: i.e. (x2 + 6x + 8) + 2 = x2 + 6x + 10. :uhoh:
