So what does BoS think of this old doozy. Possibly one of the best rap albums in history.

My personal favorite song is "Till I Collapse" which also happens to be Michael Phelps's favorite Its one of the best songs i've ever heard too.

i hated eminem at first, but his music is really impressive. ok so it does get annoying but you gotta admire him.

certainly not the best album in history but i have to admit i was addicted to the album at one stage. the beats of the songs are awesome. personal fav:

Eminem has fell from grace in my opinion and to use slang . is WACK.
I agree the album was good and he had some hits in 2001, but now... meh.. his music seems crap to me.

Well.. thats my opinion, and what DOES Mr Phelps listen to before an event?
Does he listen to calmative music or stuff to hype himself up with?

I was reading in the paper that he calms down after races by playing his favourite video game (i dont know which).
He's still a BOY!... just really tall lol

Eminem has powerful Lyrics, no matter what the album. Its the kinda music that can get you pumped for whatever you're about to do.

Which is why its good for Phelps, i mean, hes nothing without being pumped.

He must have forgotten to listen to it before the 200m freestyle final

lol....I am not to sure if thats exactly the right thing to say. I personaly was a big fan of HIP-HOP and Rap at one point. there was a time when i though rap was "THA SHIT" meaning extremely cool. However now-a- days i seem to enjoy anything that sounds good.

To be honest the first time I heard eminem was on Radio, and after listening to the "The Real Slim Shady" single i actually thought he was black. His Lyrical flow was so natural Compared to that of other black rappers which is why he bacame so popular. People wanted to see something different and they got it in the form of Eminem. Eminem followed up his first LP release with 3 new albums. they all went platnium. So i guess it would be fair to say Eminem was good but not the greatest.
