My assignment is to argue why it should be included as a post modern text. 'The Eyre Affair' by Jasper Fforde is a great book, really entertaining and has pomo techniques I've identified but...4 weeks off exten eng leaves my brain mushy. Has any one read it, so as to offer suggestions? i just need an idea to get up and running :S

I love this book! Well, wouldn't it be postmodernist because of the extremely heavy intertextual references and the way it messes around with the late 20C history, Crimean War etc? I haven't studied postmodernism- grain of salt please =D Hope you get writing.
