Michelin had a similar problem last year. I don't see why they can't come up with a tyre which is not radical for Indy!

Good on Monterio for getting the podium though. Stoddart doesn't want the points, but I bet you he will be happy when the pay check comes in with a few million dollars on it.

Why should ferrari cave into other teams who run other tyres, when they can have a tyre that can last the distance. And don't say because Ferrari = FIA; other teams said that they can see where ferrari are coming from.

I dunno about the GPWC though. Ferrari and red bull have already agreed to sign up with the concord agreement, however, if bernie would introduce some sensible rules maybe, just maybe we might be able to have a decent f1 race.

I wonder how long this will last for?

i hope there is a new series cuz this whole cost cutting thing is gonna just fuck the sport over... i mean... i saw the rule changes for next season... impress me... i bet theyll keep cutting cost till someone injures themselves big time or even dies for them to realise changing brakes and tyres isnt good...

1. bring back slick tyres for both michelin and bridgestone
2. stay on v10's
3. bring back 12 lap qf'ing
4. get rid of the new points system and do a 10, 6 , 4 , 3 , 2 , 1.
5. bring back a1 ring and put the final race in suzuka
6. bring back tyre changing
7. get rid of reverse order qf running
8. have a rolling start like in nascar
9. make the european gp 1 lap less, as well as the spanish.
10. put a gp through sydney city
11. ban delayed telecasts by doubling the right to broadcast.

Because all 10 teams needed to agree and the FIA needed to agree as well. But this would present a problem for bridgestone, because their cars can't slow down without loosing tyre pressure, which might lead to a blow out.

And the FIA are just being their bitchy selves wouldn't agree to anything.

But there is definately more going on than what we read off websites.
