I've finally read it! It is totally deserving of the praise it gets, loved every bit of it. Anyone else read it?

If your talking about fight club, then it is one of the best books ever written. if you enjoyed it i would highly suggest you read his other works. i loved Surviour.

Palanuik is an interesting writer, but he does need to shake up his style a bit more. His narration doesn't vary much at all between his works. Regardless, I still enjoyed Fight Club and Choke in particular.

i must admit that i did like choke, but i found it abit weird in a sexual sense. but i like his ideas about conning people out of money.

Well there goes any attempt at logic.

You do not gain the same things from each.

An Chuck's an excellent writer - noone here's yet mentioned invisible monsters, quite probably my favourite, alongside fight club.

which is why i said i'm not the reading type.

all the people who love reading tend to tell people off for not reading?!?!!

it depends on the person, i may have a better/enjoyable experience watching the movie than reading the book, there is nothing wrong with it.
