crookers were heaps fun when they were doing minimal/baille funk shit, but now they sound like every other electro house act out there (i.e. fucking shit)

although it's already being played a fair bit, i think that baile funk/baltimore/miami bass type thing will be the next coolish thing. the big thing will always be shitty politik-esque house tho.

but really, fuck clubbing

Yeah, I probably should have put Baltimore Crunk up there.

Anyone know anything about a Diplo side show?

Electro will stay strong until MOS change.

People from 15-18 have only really heard electro at a party or club.

yeah apparently he never agreed to play future, the organisers just threw him on the bill for kicks. he's meant to be coming out some time in 2008, but not for a while.

speaking of crunk etc, it sucks that flosstradamus are only playing the one sideshow.. and it's a bang gang arq party

flosstradamus are hit or miss for me, with their mixes anyway. the mix of star alfur and overnight celebrity doesn't do it for me. but wheres your head at with yeah yeah is good.

will see em at vfest anyway. if a-trak cosigns em then they have to be good live

i say there is no future for it once the styrofoam cups are introduced and the 7:30pm curfew imposed

I actually would not mind a club curfew being introduced as it will mean more of those wicked parties in houses and backyards like there used to be when Breaks was big.

More warehouse parties and the like, they're wicked fun.
