The highest UAI cutoff (1 Viewer)

Just been looking through the UAC uni course guide to see one international business degree with a UAI cut-off of 99.95...I mean about 94 people in the state are gonna get that..

Are there any courses with a cut-off of 100.00 ?

LOL, i doubt that 94 people + those 100 people are gonna go for that degree.

and I don't think there's a cut off mark 100

That was for 2002 first year uni - the UAI lowered this year.
It was 99.95 because there were less than 10 places offered I heard..and also because it involved a semester or sumthing on exchange at MQ uni's expense

what page is it on in the 2003 UAC guide?

Minai's right. I think no one even applied for it the year after (ie. 2002) because they were scared off by the UAI.

i would actually be interested in that course, umm... but the UAI, I am never gonna make it if it's that high!

22 Students get a UAI of 100.00 and following that 46 people get the same UAI. i.e 46 will get 99.95, 4 will get 99.90 and so on... so around 68 students will get 99.95 or above

From memory is was about 96-98, last year.

I just had another look at the 2004 UAC guide:

The course is B Business Administration (International) on page 69 of the the 2004 UAC guide if you are interested.

2003 Cut-off: 99.95
2004 Cut-off: 98.65...

Gee how generous of them to lower it by 1.30 points

They didn't lower it, people just couldn't be bothered using up a preference on it.

Flyin' are you studying actuarial studies at uni? if yes, what was the UAI cut-off and what UAI did you score...coz I know its in the high 90s for actuarial studies...

Yeah, I'm studyin' Actuarial Studies at Macquarie Uni. I got 98.50... which was enough. The single degree was on 96.10 the year before, so I took it easy during my HSC year, and the double degrees weren't too high (around 97 range). Then in my year, single degree rose to high 96s and doubles were in 98s. Any higher and I would've had to have enrolled in a single degree, then transferred.

Having said that, I've studied like there's no tommorrow for the bulk of the year, and it's paid off (well, I can say that without my Semester II results).

That's like around 90 from memory. Transfer is the best way, imo.

yea...business admin is around 92 last yr, i'm projecting around 93-94 this yr...which is gonna screw me big time...


so yea, transfer, but if i get in B Business and B Engineering in UTS, i might go there instead, since their cut off is slightly lower..
