Hey!!
Did anybody have to do a history competition at there school (multiple choice)?
I was pretty surprised to find out that I had got a credit (woohoo!) lol.
Did anybody else's school enter? And if they did, how did you go?

We did it, and got our marks back ages ago. I'm guessing they sent the results out to them, but we haven't been told what grade we got for it.

I didn't, but I did the national history challenge and even though my entry didn't get sent to the competition I enjoyed researching my subject.

I've never actually heard of it...
What was in it, I wonder? Year 10 syllabus or something, or just like general history knowledge??

Yea, it was pretty "cheap" competition ~ Unlike the other competitions we sit (like science, writing, english etc.)

Single sided, normal A4 paper m/c sheet, with single stapled double sided question booklet.

But don't schools learn different topics at different times of the year? If it tested the syllabus... :S or is that for subjects like science and maths?

But I remember I said Australia was allied with Germany in WW1. Hahaha and I didn't even realise 'til I got out of the test. :^)

Oh yeah, that competition. It was a pretty hard test. There were so many questions I guessed! This test was supposed to give us a general idea of what the SC would be like.

Btw, the award is so cheap! It's like as if they just printed it out and wrote our name in some texta.

I got a Distinction. :( really hoped for something better but meh.. not complaining
