I'm going overseas this holidays yay - I'm leaving for London on Saturday and I'm going to Paris and then to Tokyo. I get back the day before uni starts.

and I'll still be watching the forum

I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE - I am SO over uni this semester and I can't wait to just finish my degree. How are the rest of you feeling?

Thank god, holidays. Hopefully I can do some reading without feeling guilty about it. I'm going camping in Middle of Nowhere, NSW for a couple of weeks. Yeah, and that's just as good as your fancy-shmancy 'London' and 'Paris' and 'Tokyo'.

I think this semester went pretty well overall, though. Certainly nowhere near as bad as the horror stories I heard about the first semester of uni.

^^Good for you, cos I found settling in and all with the uni rhythm of work and socialising greatly troubled me first semester last year. ujuphleg--nice work! yeah, it seems a lot of people are taking off for holidays. Are you travelling with anyone or in a group tour kinda thing?

Going shopping in Malay-asia for a week, flying out this Sunday. Should be fun, but I prefer going away to 3rd world countries, much more interesting.

yeh KL city shacked up in some high rise building I assume. Yet to book accomodation, will probably just rock up.

At least I hear the markets are good, like low yat plaza.

I'm just going up North for a week or so, will be nice to have a break. I'll probably just chill, play some poker, see some movies and stuff.

Yay! At least I have the weekend before to read the new Harry Potter book... I was a bit worried it'd come out after we restarted and then I'd fall behind on my work because I was reading it.

Oh awesome, I can buy it while I'm still out west. I had the ending of the last one spoiled, so hopefully I can avoid that with this one. (Unfortunately I'll have to contend with that horrid book cover. I may have to remove the dustjacket and then shred and burn it.)

Anyone know what movies are coming out in the next week or so?

I've got an overwhelming fear that it will be spoiled, somehow, in some way the very second I walk out my front door. I'm going to have to speed read it in the two days before uni semester starts back again. I imagine a lot of people will be doing the same.

lol some of the songs on that game are harder in the game than on guitar (the bad religion song in the first one for example ;D)

i had a guy tell me once that he was pretty good at guitar hero, so he was probably a really good guitarist. i lol'd. ;D

i plan to party and sleep and read and get a job and not venture into the city unless i absolutely have to or there's a hawt sale on (i never thought i'd say it but after a semester of going there every day it'll be nice not to have to go there for a bit).

Agree - such an awesome film. My bf really loved the bit at the end where its filmed in one continuous shot (the fight scene where they all stop to let the baby out) - personally it made me dizzy but i can appreciate the cinematic beauty. What's scary is that the world could become like that I think.
