ok guys, been revsising over this stuff ahead of trials, i finally worked out how he used the maths to get the mass to charge ratio, now i cant work out one more thing....
in the textbooks it says that E, B and r (radius) can be calculated using the geometry of the plates and coils, how is this done? are we supposed 2 know how this was done? im thinking it would be more advanced mathematics still??
