Really really regret not seeing them at the 2004 big day out... and opting to line up for Metallica instead to get a better spot.

Looking back now I would have rather seen the mars volta than metallica.

So wait, the new album is good then?

fucking awesome album. the mars volta are one of the tightest, most talented bands on the rock scene at the moment, and certainly one of the most innovative in the prog rock genre.
