it takes me 1 hour to memorise a dotpoint, which sucks ass.
i'm probably using the most ineffective memorising method EVER, but i'm not complaining since it concretes paragraphs of info into my brain.

Yeah, I need to read over the same point in a textbook several times to fully understand and memorise it. Notes make it simple for me for some reason,

Well I do the same type of subject as you. At the end of the day it is what clicks with you. For instance, I write notes because this is a way of revising my work so yeh...

I like making detailed notes which have information from all sources cuz it then serves as a textbook for me which has the best information from all sorts of sources. And since I write them out myself, its easier to understand and revise.

The Dot Point books are excellent for the science subjects, it ensures you have every syllabus point covered.
Yeah I agree, but their answers can be pretty simplified sometimes.

That's why you find the answers from other sources instead.
Yeah , I agree with you. I only use Dot Point for revision questions. I don't get how some people can use it only as a study guide.

I don't really write/use notes.

Then again i'm doing alot of math and science, which is basically just applying basic concepts. Stuff like humanities that revolves around facts you might need notes?

Mathematics, just do more questions.
