Someone explain how the semi-finals works. Who plays who based on minor premiership ranking?

1st semi-final round goes like:

1st Vs 8th
2nd Vs 7th
3rd Vs 6th
4th Vs 5th

lowest two teams eliminated.... say theoretically that would be 7th and 8th

highest two teams get a week off... say theoretically 1st and 2nd

then 2nd round finals would look like

3rd Vs 5th
4th Vs 6th

i think? i cant be too sure from here... even if this part is right im not 100% sure

highest loser v 3rd highest winner (game A)

second highest loser v 4th highest winner (game B)

im pretty sure it goes...preliminaary final...

Then the winners play in GF

Life's not fair. You get all the rewards for coming first and don't get any favours for coming 8th that's for sure.

I think the AFL systems better to be honest....although this IS the NRL vote off game.....so we should use that...
