Will the lack of competition in this tri-series affect Australia's performance in the World Cup? They haven't been seriously tested yet (maybe cept when Hussey saved the game at the Gabba and at the SCG)

You have to laugh now as if you didn't you would want to cry.

What is funny though is that Fletcher thinks they can have an impact in the World Cup :D

Even Zimbabwe and Bangladesh will do better than England if they continue their form like this

i missed the game.

i was looking forward to getting home early and seeing parts of the run chase.

but i saw it on tv in the city

aus were 1/69 chasing 111.

that was LAME. :(

but oh well. i'd LAUGH if england can win the world cup.

can we beat for teams that WON'T win it? :) i bags england.

So Mohamed Yusuf beats Viv Richards records - pretty damn good record to hold - most test runs in a year and he played against some gud teams, but he didnt play Australia. Had he played Australia the record would have had a lot of value.

And he bats at no.4 as well, but Pakistan top order isnt so flash.

Astle retired, lol NZ in a lot of trouble. But how good is Ross Taylor?

With newer bowlers Johnsonn, Clarke and white - they will struggle against teams like India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

West Indies have an ok team, SA need to improve. At this point for WC, Pakistan look like the closest to be in the final with Australia.

it will be pakistan sri lanka australia and if brian charles lara of trindad and tobago starts firing.. then they will b in the semi finals too..

its between india and Wi to make it to the semi finals.. from there it can be anyone

Australia wont make it to the finals this time.. They have new bowlers who are not experienced enuf yet to play in the big league.. they would not be able to adapt to the conditions

Yeah woohoo! Its good to see all the boys again. AB, Mark Waugh etc :D (even if they aren't as nimble as they once were). Mark Waugh is my fav though so i'm glad he's opening the batting for our 1st VI Beach Cricket Team - Its a good innovation.

and i can't see what bos1234 said but i'm sure it was a troll.

GOD DEFEND NEW ZEALAND
1. God of nations at thy feet
In the bonds of love we meet.
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.

2. Men of every creed and race
Gather here before thy face,
Asking thee to bless this place,
God defend our free land.
From dissension, envy, hate,
And corruption guard our state,
Make our country good and great,
God defend New Zealand.

3. Peace, not war, shall be our boast,
But, should foes assail our coast,
Make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Lord of battles in thy might,
Put our enemies to flight,
Let our cause be just and right,
God defend New Zealand.

4. Let our love for Thee increase,
May thy blessings never cease,
Give us plenty, give us peace,
God defend our free land.
From dishonour and from shame
Guard our country's spotless name,
Crown her with immortal fame,
God defend New Zealand.

5. May our mountains ever be
Freedom's ramparts on the sea,
Make us faithful unto thee,
God defend our free land.
Guide her in the nation's van,
Preaching love and truth to man,
Working out thy glorious plan.
God defend New Zealand.
