umm...yeh im just wondering if any1 else has noticed...but Damien Martyn didnt play in the first one dayer against new zealand...and the last time i checked marty was only dropped from the test team...or am i wrong...someone please tell me why he aint playing???

Can someone explain this super-sub to me !?

My boy told me he was "super-subbed" the other day and he said that it meant that he didnt have to field after they batted

It means that at any time of the game if you're the designated 'super sub' you are 'swapped' with another player. That player is not allowed to play for the rest of the game.

It usually happens after the end of the 1st innings, so, say if you're bowling second, you sub off the batsman who cant bowl or field, for the 'super sub' that can bowl and field.

ICC just trying to make the game more interesting.
