and yes the 6th sense wasnt scary at all. the ring isnt scary either, except for the quick flashes of distorted people. but after watching it 2ce it was like mehpfft.

Well the blair witch project was the first movie I saw that used handheld camera for the whole movie, I thought it was a one in a kind if you know what I mean. I agree it was annoying at times with the camera shacking all the time and stuff but it actually kept me interested and on the edge for the whole movie. I think it was very simple yet quite powerful. But I only saw it once and it was ages ago so I don't know what I'd think of it if I saw it again now.

And I agree the Ring was just weird.

I agree about the Blair Witch - when I saw it, it seemed like the most original, and truly scary, thing I'd ever seen. I really couldn't wait for the daylight scenes cos I knew nothing scary could happen during the day. Then again I was about 12 when I saw it.

I actually felt the same way about The Ring when I first saw it, cos I didn't know anything about it, and I'd mostly only seen horror movies like Scream etc. that are all post-modern and shit. So a "real" horror movie kinda freaked me out. But I saw it again ac ouple of weeks ago and I wasn't really all that freaked out by it.

anything made by the olsen twins, and yet i still have this compulsion to watch them...
the notebook. i did cry, but only because of the old people.
