The Simpsons FTW. Particularly the older seasons. The newer ones have lost some of the original touch, but they're better than Family Guy by far.

I agree with how the newer Simpsons are not as funny and entertaining as the old ones. Family Guy is cool for the older audience, but not for the younger audience.

I prefer Simpsons, because Family Guy is just crude humour (Although I still end up ROFL at most of it)
The Simpsons can also be really thoughtful as well as amusing.
On the upside, Family Guy has threads that run through the seasons, such as the chicken fight, which are more amusing if you are a fan and have watched religiously
Stewie is Amazing

Drawn Together, South Park, American Dad etc are all great.

Simpsons is far superior at his best all jokes were funny not so much now (but is still decent) Family Guy is one funny jokes then 20 unfunny ones it is lame and a cheap rip off
