Okay, I realise this thread has probably come and gone heaps of times but I haven't gotten to look at it!

How many Simpsons fans are out there???

What was/were your fav episode(s)?

And is it true that Matt Groening said they were cutting the series?

and he aint ending the series yet lol
apparently the voice actors contract say
they have 2 movies to do..
so we have more to expect... not only that
but he said the same thing about the simpsons
a few years ago.. then said it again lst year
who knows when he will end it lol

I love love LOVE the Simpsons!
Matt Groenign better not cut the show...ever! lol! The plots are running a little thin though, you must admit...although they actually seem to have improved from last series, which was pretty bad!
Fave episode? Couldn't say...although I am quite partial to the Halloween episodes.
These are my LEAST fave episodes, though:
The Australian episode.
The one where Homer falls in love with Mindy.
The one where that country singer Lurlene falls in love with Homer.
All the clip-show ones...except for the musical one, that was friggin hilarious!

Homer:"Bart was getting mighty blue..."
Marge:"It's a shame what school can do..."
Apu: "For no reason, heres Apu..."
"Those were the days!"

thats why he wants to cut the show, but yet he has made 2 new series, and is yet to make 2 movies (which was on the actors contract) so yeh, he wont be cutting it for a while... he has said it 2 times, once last year, and 2 years before that. LOL

i loved it when the ice cream truck tips over.. and the guy that was on the roof falls off and says:

"WHOOHOO! we stopped it" he moves closer to the truck which is tipped on its side, "ooh how can i order without the pictures?"
lol that was funny... and in the end where lisa says

"its ironic how dad blocked the hole because he is over weight, but had he been skinnier he would have fallen through and died"
then bart says
"yeh and its ironic how for once dads fat ass prevented the release of toxic gas"

Yeh it's been on before, I've seen it at least twice I think.
But you got to love the simpsons.....Homer's jolly attitude to life, Bart's destructive attitude to life, Lisa's intellectual, Marge's boring and Maggie's same old same old same old attitude, but hey it's still good.
Btw how many episodes of the Simpsons have there been made? And what's doing with the movies? that should be preety cool.

in case you havent noticed, im a bit of a simpsons fan. They made just over 300 episodes. I think they should stop dragging it on. Every episode is getting worse and worse. They have done 14 great seasons, now they should just stop before people start to remember simpsons for being crap. i love the episodes before season 10, after that theyre getting abit desperate for ideas.

I think most of the new episodes are great, sure you get the odd average one but the majority are still gold
