I was just curious to see how you all felt about Miss Cordelia Gray, not only as an Investigator but as a person.

Everyone else in my class semi-disliked her, saying she was dull and too emotionally-mute. But she was my favourite character (apart from Ambrose) in the whole book. I found her endearing and underestimated, incredibly intelligent and observant.. qualities maybe only I appreciate? I kinda related to her as well.

Roma is pathetic and she definetly is my least favourite character.

What did you think? Who was your favourite/least favourite character?

Yes, I liked Cordelia. She wasn't dull.

I didn't like Clarissa, Roma or Clarissa's son.

i found cordelia a little annoying, mainly because she was set up in the beginning as a detective, however, then when the police Grogan and Buckley arrived she stepped down to some degree. It was just a little dissapointing, because i was all ready for her to be actively involved.
Anway, i did like her at the beginning.
My favourtie character was Ivo.

Just out of curiosity, how many times have you read the book?
