Honestly, I think the structure of the exam has changed but the difficulty not so much. I've been doing numerous trial papers with the new format and have seen some extremely difficult questions putting the students on the spot, extremely tricky ones which wouldn't appear in the HSC other than in q10. People are thinking that the difficulty will decrease due to MC, but the thing is, with MC doesn't mean free marks since the questions are still tricky and most people will lose 2-4 marks just as they would have in q4/5. Q11 on the other hand makes up for the lack of q1 and 2, and the rest should be similar in difficulty. Anyone else agree?
