i dont think theres a point looking at failure rate

u urself would know whether u will or will not pass...
in the event of a mass failure, i think they scale it so its not likely u're gonna fail unless u got ~10/40 so far...

then u miteas well just not turn up to this exam :D

The only number I heard was a25% failure rate (it was the same for 1A and QMA)

yeah, lots of people proabaly did screw up. but in the end, it doesnt matter because its not the hsc and they dont look at other peoples mark to pass you.

Where do you people get these rumours about failure rates. I'm lecturerin charge, so I should know, and the long run average is nowhere near as high as the lowest of the numbers mentioned. In fact, it hasn't been anywhere near 20 for any session 1 offering of the subject for ages.

Mind you, I'm not making any promises here, and you guys might be really bad compared to previous years, so I'm open to evidence (i.e. the marking of the exams).

Stop stressing about failure rates and go and do something useful/fun/non-stressful!
