I think the Advanced English paper was so much easier than previous years...i'd never been more impressed with an exam.

does it mean if hsc exams was easier this year, therefore more people will do really good, and for uni courses uai cut offs will be higher?

No, UAI cut off's depend on demand for the courses, but yeah i guess it does but i don't think it will impact that much?

i think with english its hard to say because it depends how your particular class is prepared and what you focuesed on for the particulary modules..

but i think all the other exams have been easier... maybe easy isnt the word because i did find some bit challenging and the style of questions was much different... like they didnt focus so much on facts and concepts you had to fully understand but more so on how you could drawn in all your knowledge

i found english advanced and english extension to be muuuuuch much easier

ancient history was both hard and easy in that they used a lot of questions from 2001 paper... so like, if you did it for practise properly, it would have been sooo easy, but a lot of people didn't study the areas that had been covered in that exam.. so it was still tricky and hard
