I have a feeling we'll have entire question 7 dedicated to binomial (ok maybe not 12 marks but still).


Binomial+Circle Geometry+Probability= /neck.

The thing is, what ever they dont ask in 2/4 unit they will ask in three unit.

Theyve basically covered probability, and binomial was pretty tricky in 4 unit. So it wont be focused on as much.

One thing they will hammer is motion. In two unit it was only that easy graph, and in 4 unit it was that bread and butter circle motion that everyone should be able to do. Motion will be a big part of three unit for sure.

Also watch out for induction. That induction in 4u was pretty straight forward, and its a pretty standard one that ive seen before. So they will give a painful induction in three unit.

The general rule is that if 2u/4u are simpler, 3u is going to be a killer. Even though people thought 4u was hard, BOS would see it as not as hard as other years. And the 2u is just a dead giveaway.

See the way I see it, General was hard, 2U was easy, 4U was hard... 3U is between 2U and 4U and to make a pretty little pattern 3U should also be easy.

I honestly think that there will only be a small binomial question of average difficulty. My teacher said five marks.

I think induction will be like 2006. They will hammer trig as well, since that was missing in 2u/4u. My teacher said they might mix an inverse trig with motion.

Right now all i can do is practice papers.

i hope you're right about binomials...i gave up on them. i can do it, only if its not in question 7 in which case i have small-ish chance of getting full marks :S
