I have never even seen/used MAPLE before..

Where's the assignment question? I can't find it in the computing notes...

if you go to the message of the day, scroll to the bottom and click on the math1131 link, it should come up with a thing that tells you how to generate the assignment..

You CAN do it from home.

MacOS/Linux: ssh into sigma.maths.unsw.edu.au WHEN CONNECTED WITH UDUS DIALUP (you get quite a lot of free hours if your a CSE student).

Windows: puTTY into sigma.maths.unsw.edu.au WHEN CONNECTED WITH UDUS DIALUP (you get quite a lot of free hours if your a CSE student).

Once in, run the command MAPLE.

If you are a CSE student, and you don't have UDUS signed up, its even better.

SSH into CSE (login.cse.unsw.edu.au), then from there SSH into sigma as described above. You can always have MAPLE at home, do it and bring it to uni.

ssh -l studentnumber sigma.maths.unsw.edu.au

You will then be asked for your password (the maths one)
