23rd of Nov. about 2 weeks to go. still so much to organise and get!!!!

actually we do have to take our parents... but we're allowed to take a partner also

same situation at our school... although our 'partners' also have to be from our school and yeargroup. So bassically most people get a partner just for the one night, just to walk into the formal together.

I don't think it's that unusual to have parents/guardians attending, it seems pretty common. I don't see anything wrong with it, it's a good chance for them to be proud of you. There's the afterparty for all the wilder stuff you want to do.

mine is after the hsc on the 19th. dont have a partner yet, woops. and i havnt told the caterers anything, so we'll probably end up with chicken parmagiana.

Mine is on the 17th of November.

I didn't go to my last years one cos it was on a boat and I hate boats, and the one before that - year 10 - I got really sick and had to be driven home by my year advisor HAhahaahah , it wasn't funny on the night.


I wonder what will happen this year....

yeah im taking my aunt who is 21 (she's adopted) but in the letter i had to give to the principle i made sure mum didnt mention her age, otherwise our new nazi principle would think the worst of her. 'omg shes going to smuggle alcohol and buy for underage' blah blah

we're having it at Noahs on the Beach in Newcastle and we're allowed to bring parents and partners from out of skl or from another year.
and my limo is a rolls royce lol thats so cool.
my dress is really cool too
its pink and had beads n stuff on it... its long at the back and short at the front and has layers... its really beautiful.

OMG? thats where i spend my every christmas!!! best hotel ever! and also thats where my aunty and uncle had their wedding reception when i was 5 and a flower girl. we stay there every year!!!!! its so nice

i'm pretty disappointed about the venue, but ahhh well.
i have the best month of my life ahead!

11th- finish hsc [drama]
12th- an 18th
13th- drama class party [we have a rocking class]
19th- my 18th party
21st- my 18th birthday
22nd- birthday dinner
24th - formal
3rd - 10th dec- schoolies
