Hey guys aka wanna be lawyers, have ya got ur UAC guide yet??? What do ur preferences for law look like

Edit due to change in preferences

I have changed my preferences to:
1. Social Science(Criminology)/LLB - UWS
2. LLB - UTS
3. Social Science/ LLB - Maquarie
4. Social Science(Criminology) - UWS

I am applying for University of Notre Dame as well but thats separate from UAC
i wanna do Law @ UWS
but havent got the UAC book yet.
we'll prob get it after trials.

Just a small note, put your most desired course first like LLB/whatever @ Sydney. The position of your preferences has no bearing on your chances if you miss out your first choice.

I dont have it in my preferences bcoz it doesnt offer what course I want...plus I have to chance lol

u dunno...maybe usyd's cutoff may dramatically drop!

yep... just got the uac guide a couple days ago... i think its sitting on my desk until the trials are over... at least you get 9 choices for courses... my dream course still remains... (see signature if you are slow).

hehe Mel... your avatar reminds me of the case donaghue v. stevenson- neighbourhood principle for the tort of negligence... yes... legal knowledge from crime is still here...

Well that is the point of it :uhhuh: its one of my favorite cases

I had to change my preferences

Well I talked to my CA today (for about an hour :rolleyes: ) and found out why you can't do Social Science(Criminology)/LLB at UNSW, which doesn't bother me too much since I know it would be impossible for me to get in....especially since the highest we had was 99.0 last year and I am definately not one of the top students...

So I have changed my preferences to:
1. Social Science(Criminology)/LLB - UWS
2. LLB - UTS
3. Social Science/ LLB - Maquarie
4. Social Science(Criminology) - UWS

er not yet, soon though

umm I'm looking at anu law. I might apply separately to the UQ though.
