Thoughts about UNSW vs USYD for International Postgrad. Engineering (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I must decide between UNSW and USYD for Mechatronics Engineering soon. I have heard about the differences in facilities, commutes, and overall reputation, and from what I've gathered UNSW is only marginally better, and so I lean toward UNSW. However, I'm posting this because I'm wondering whether my choice will matter when I pursue a Masters in the US (Top choices are UT Austin or Purdue atm). My friends tell me that USYD has a better international reputation, which will impact my choice but I'm also curious as to how important this is compared to other factors. Guidance appreciated

Since your completing your bachelor's in Australia, imo UNSW would be a better option.
