well I am doing compSci because I like it. i am not doing commerce because I couldn't see myself doing some bullshit accounting crap. The advantages/dis are subjective

Comm/Eng is inherently more flexible than Sci/Eng.

Sci/Eng is a good choice if you have a specific industry or field you're interested in.
