did anyone go to that workshop today [/yest... 9th March] at the Zenith Centre, Chatswood???? D: i can't believe we endorse Tim Riley at our school by buying his text books it was horrible. i am however, uber pro tim dixon. SUCH an informative, comprehensive and good speaker!

why do they both have to be called tim? we use riley but i keep saying dixon i have to go check all the time. I hope it doesnt ask us a question like what textbook do u use? coz i can never remember

my teacher insists we have both riley and dixon, i dont understand either of them or her for that matter so im stuffed either way!!!

they have a completely different style of writting though, dixon repeats himself just to make the book look fatter and riley is just to complicated.

dixon is better imo.....riley talks in a monotoneous tone to the microphone

get the notes, they're pretty good. [except riley's - its just an excerpt from the text book... i can't believe he didn't even bother to change the font]. Dixons is fabulous... and the last session's ones were good too. i think you might get one with a bunch of charts and blank lines [for notes]. and they will prob have no meaning to you.

i thought the first and last session ones were good?? then again i don't have the dixon ones..maybe they're from the txt book. riley's are definitely straight from the txt book though *thumbs down*.
