The best time is when you're ready for it! Sometimes it's 17 and sometimes 25...

it really all depends on the person. how you feel...if you feel you can move away and live confidently by yourself away from family.
are you planning on moving out anythime soon? are you going to uni next year?
i want to move. i was in melbourne when i decided i wanted to leave..so that was 17...im 18 in a few days...i dont think there is a time limit. but i just got a car so im gonna be stuck at home now until i pay it off. i want to go to tafe after the hsc and hopefully i will have enough saved to move.
it really all depends on your state of mind....if you think you can leave and survive...i cant really say much more....i dont know when you want to leave and if you are planning on doing it after the hsc or later.

ASAP.

I look down on anyone second year out of school (regardless of whether they're at TAFE or uni) who hasn't moved out. One year is enough adjustment time.

I moved out for uni straighaway - it forces you to grow up and be independent.

drink up, baby down
mmm, are you in or are you out
leave your things behind
'cause it's all going off without you
excuse me, too busy you're writing your tragedy
these mishaps
you bubble wrap
when you've no idea what you're like

so let go, jump in
oh well, whatcha waiting for
it's alright
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown
so let go, just get in
oh, it's so amazing here
it's alright
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown

it gains the more it gives
and then it rises with the fall
so hand me that remote
can't you see that all that stuff's a sideshow

such boundless pleasure
we've no time for later now
you can't await your own arrival
you've 20 seconds to comply

so let go, jump in
oh well, whatcha waiting for
it's alright
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown
so let go, just get in
oh, it's so amazing here
it's alright
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown

When is the right time to let go from parents and move out.

If you don't know what I mean. Look at this example: http://www.break.com/index/meetingtheparents.html
hey there pal ;)

The time is never ripe to leave your parents.

Parents are like fertile soil: you exploit them until they shrivel up and die, better to get what you can while you can. It means there will be less left for your syblings if they have left home :)

;) Just kidding ;)

When you're 20, living at home at your mummy still makes your coco pops in the morning with a glass of milk, she packs your lunch in your ninja turtles lunch box and expects you home for tea at 630pm.... it's time to let go.

it would depend on you...when are you ready to be independent? i guess you have to learn to do thing on your own first, find a job that can support you, and find a place you can pay and be comfortable in. it would be a whole lot of adjustments.

i live away from my folks. im two hours away from them and still visits over the weekend. its not much of a personal choice, rather its a necessity since my family live far away fro the uni i attended. i have to move and learn to be independent...

You don't move out as such. You wait until they die out.

Also kidding, I love my parents. :p

for me, im thinking of leaving home by next year at the earliest when i start uni....this scenario will only happen if all of the ff conditions are met:
>i get into UNSW or Sydney Uni
>i get promoted at work to team leader
>can find a decent but cheap place to stay
>share the board with mates or chics

i know d last condition is impossible to achieve but hey don't discount anything....but d 2nd and third one are important since i work at bondi junction and would like to leave near the area since now dat im still in yr12..i travel an hour to get from home in wiley park near banxtown to bondi.......and finally, promotion for me will be d difference since wot i earn will go certainly to boarding..i know dat parents are still jumpy bout me living by myself (my mum certainly wants me to stay with my bro) but i want to live independent of em as much as possible just to see if i can stand to d real world

I desperately want to move out too, but I'm not really allowed to. ;__ ;
