In my English units so far this year, my exam marks always brought my final marks down from a potential high distinction to a distinction. Throughout each semester, I was consistently scoring high distinction (or just a few marks below that) in assessment tasks...right up until the exam, where I'd score maybe 55-65. How do you guys deal with writing essays specifically for exams? How can I improve my exam performance for English? More specifically, how do you come up with something thoughtful even despite the time constraints?
