when we did titration my teacher was pretty relaxed but what were we supposed to do with out results? you know after the phenolphthalein changed colour. etc

use c1v1 = c2v2

sub in the things you know to figure out concentration of whatever it is you're trying to find the conc of (the whole point of titrations)

u have the exact amount of the acid used to neutralised the base.

write a balenced equa 4 d react.

work out how many moles of the of the secondary is present as u know the conc n vol of the standard

these r the ones u need i think.

n=cv
n=m/mw

its kinda hard to explain without everythin in front but i've had a go. ask further Q's if needed

It's still safer to use n=cv. Both my teacher and two tutors have said to use this during the HSC.
