if I'm getting around 70-80% in my subjects does that mean I'll get a around 80% UAI (don't want to imagine getting 70% UAI!!!!!)

That depends on so many things, you can't expect an accurate answer. It depends on what subjects you do, how hard your internal assessments are and how your marks compare with the other students at your school doing that subject.

no one cares about wat marks u get...rather, wat is ur rank? and wat school do u goto (u can determine a UAI more accurately based on school, ie, a rank of 1st in eng. adv at woop woop high may be comparatively worse than a rank of 150th at james ruse)

i'm aiming for 96+
based on lazseeker and 2001 figures it places me around 98.95 or so it says
i'm getting just under band 6 for nearly everything
these are my average marks so far based on raw asst
phys-92
chem- 80
bio- 87
english adv- 92?? i think
english ext 1- around 75%
maths- 94
maths ext 1- just over 90

these are based on raw asst marks not scaled.. i'm pretty much coming first in phys, chem, bio, maths and maths ext 1 and prolly second in englisht ext 1

any ideas where my UAI is approx?

Depends on what school your at? However, if you are coming first, then you are giving yourself the best opportunity you can! Keep it up!
