hey ppl i got a preliminary offer at the beginnin of this month for a bachelor of eng with a diploma but applied for the double degree eng n business for this main round. Now im haven second thoughts about the double degree because i cant specialise in civil and not sure which would be the better option and more beneficial.Whats everyone think. does specilisin outweigh having a double degree in the engineering field?

im enrolled in structural...but most likely just do a straight civil..its all bullshit..they talk it all up for HSC students....anyways....you can change any time....and the course outline are exactly the same for the first 3 years. only 1 subject different between it all. just a PR stunt.

if I was do I'd do the double, don't worry about not being "specialised" - most employers value breadth of knowledge and skills more than specific technical knowledge, and the double degree would certainly deliver this.
