Was anyone at the Pompeii and Herculaneum Study day at the Tom Mann Theatre?
The guy and the lady were so boring so me and my friends competely just tuned out... couldn't help it!
If you were there, would you be able to explain anything from the day to me? the booklet doesn't mean much when I wasn't listening.

ahh I was so glad when it was over! what a tedious day!!!!
haha my entire ancient class cracked up when the guy mentioned Andrew Wallace-Hadrill and how hes funding the excavation at Herculaneum.

Hey, yeah i was at that day. I was only there from like the third talk onwards but i thought it was kinda interesting. Sorry can't help too much because everything was directly related to the sources that were up on the screen.

we were talking about it in class today and everyone basically said that they got nothing from it so i guess it doesn't really matter...

Me and my school was there. It was decent, but after the 4th speech I was already half-asleep. An hour after that I had given up and was just reading a book instead of listening. :D

Yeah but Lum you spend your whole life reading books.

That said, I spent most of the day listening to music. >_>

tbh from what I gathered it was nothing new, at least to me.
