For ne one that missed it, MTV.com released their choice for the greatest hiphop albums of all time. Top 10 is:

10) Public enemy - It takes a nation of million to hold us back
9) Tupac - The Don Killuminati - the 7 day theory
8) Ice cube - Death certificate
7) NWA - Niggaz 4 life
6) Jay z - Reasonable doubt
5) Run DMC - Raising hell
4) Nitorious BIG - Ready to die
3) Dr dre - The chronic
2) Nas - Illmatic
1) Eric B and Rakim - Paid in full

Any thoughts? Ne albums u thought would/shouldda made it in there?? Discuss

(I was pretty surprise All eyez on me and Lethal injection wasnt in there)

biggie - ready 2 die
UGK - ridin dirty
nas - illmatic
eric b and rakim - paid in full
ice cube - death certificate/lethal injection and ameriKKas most wanted are all just as good as each other but maybe death certificate just a bit edges em out

What happened to you being underground and such, I've heard nearly all of those rappers.

i wouldn't exclude

DMX - It's Dark And Hell Is Hot

at least in the top 15

if geffen get of their asses and actually release black thoughts solo album then that would most likely be up there too

as is

the roots - do you want more; and
the roots - illadelph halflife
