i have never read the RTA road book

wat the hell does a green light and the letter B in red mean???

It's common sense.

It means that there are two types of lanes on the road.
One for normal vehicles, and there would be a designated bus only lane on the [far] left.

A green light means normal cars can go.
The red B [for bus] means the bus in the bus lane has to stop.
