I have currently just begun attending Macquarie Uni for Civil Engineering however I was unaware of the fact that it isn't as well regarded for engineering as UNSW or UTS. Currently I want to transfer Uni's to either UTS or UNSW is it a good idea?

Yes UTS, UNSW, USYD are generally more recognised. If engineering is what your after, I think UNSW is ur best option. Have a look into the coop program they have asw.
