Unfortunately no.
You can ask admissions at UNSW for it, ask Laz the process though, cos apparently UNSW give you the run-around (since they dont like giving out this info..?)

For graduate med. Don't they only take into account your GAMSAT score?

I'm going to go find out the NRSL cut-offs for commerce and economics tomorrow.

Now, if they refuse, I'm not gonna leave and tell them that there is such thing as a NRSL cut-off until they get pissed.

Now, what if they still don't want to tell me and instead lie and tell me the Year 12 cut-off instead?

Should I tell them off again? Or is it possible that it's the same?

If they refuse, maybe you should request it under the Freedom of Information Act ?
Like Lazarus did in gaining his raw HSC marks from BOS

isnt there any way to estimate what the NRSL cut-off may be for something liek commerce, and also would it be different if you wanted to do commerce as part of your double degree?

if the normal cut off is 96, the NRSL would be abit lower right? say 94-95?

I think it was about the same
Actually, the 95.80 was for 2003,
I could've been slightly higher for 2004 (not over 96 though)

u know for the NRSL cut off..does it mean if u get higher than the cut off..u'll definitely get in? or..dont they set a quota on how many spaces available then rank all the applicants..until all the spaces are filled up?

yeh, they do that and then the person who got in with the lowest NRSL dealie determines the cutoff

that's why we don't know next year's cutoff yet

hmm that just might be possible to get then, my uai of (89.3+96)/2 = 92.65, and if i remember correctly, 96 = distinction average, so i basically need 75%+ average for my uni marks...

thx for the info minai

another thing minai, does unsw use the bell curve system? if so, does that mean your raw mark might be adjusted according to the quota of ppl given certain marks?

My understanding is it depends on the lecturer. Most of my courses use bell curves but some of the smaller ones don't. If your subjects did use bell curves then your raw marks would most likely be adjusted. The top 14% of people achieving distinction is a number I have heard.

I don't suppose there's any chance they told you? If so could you please post it?

i think its just easier for them
wouldnt that mean they fix it so that certain amount of people fail? or do u mean they scale those that are >50 and those below are left with whatever they got?
