ok I wanna transfer to B Information Systems, which is a new course for this year. The UAI cutoff is 77.00 and to transfer internally, I would need a gpa of 2.0. I wanna transfer through UAC after this semester. My UAI from 2 years ago is 88.60 and my gpa is errmm... lower than 2. So do you reckon I would get it? I'm hoping you people would know about this stuff.

I think they calculate your nrsl from about 50% uai 50% gpa ?

apparently for NRSL, cut offs are generally more leniet(ie lower?)

i don't know if its true

the nrsl cut off @ uts for business this yr was 3marks higher than the yr12 school leavers cut off

Well, my friend who got 85 couldn't make it into eBusiness (81.15), and made it into IT (75.35), although this was just applying through uac, no uni scores.

There is away to calculate *your* NRSL (somewhere in the Unsw forum) but to know the cut-offs is the unknown.
